- I try to do something they will really like once and while. :)
- Ingredients:
- 4-6 whole tofu (I use smart dogs) or turkey dogs (your choice)
- ⅔ cup cornmeal
- ⅓ cup whole wheat pastry flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp paprika
- 1 Tbl Stoneground Spicy Mustard
- a dash of Garlic Powder
- a dash of Onion Powder
- ¼ tsp Black Pepper
- 1 Egg
- 1/3- ⅔ cup plant-based milk
- 1 tbsp Sugar
Directions:
1) Oven at 425.
2) Mix dry ingredients first, than incorporate the wet. Add the milk last until you have a creamy, but not too wet consistency. Slice the dogs in thirds, pour a little batter (1 Tbl) into sprayed mini muffin pan. Squish in Dog and then Cover with some more batter. Don't over fill.
3) Bake for about 15-18 minutes. Until lightly browned. Serve with Ketchup and Mustard!
